Text Box: WFS (Wellsville Flying Service) founded in 1950, is a Fixed Base Operator (FBO) that has specialized in the air charter business. We have a full time staff at the airport in Wellsville NY and are open seven days a week. Anytime you arrive at Wellsville Municipal airport you will be greeted by a friendly staff who provide excellent customer service and will assist you whether your looking for fuel, aircraft maintenance, rental cars, lodging, a quick bite to eat or just stopping to use the facilities. We are all willing to help whenever we can. Our primary business is flying air charters to get passengers to their destination expediently. We also, charter cargo for local companies when there is a need to get products to their clients as soon as possible. We offer pilot service when the client owns the airplane and simply needs a pilot to operate it. KELZ (Wellsville Municipal Airport is located in beautiful Allegany County, New York. We have a full service Fuel farm offering both 100LL Avgas and Jet A. We have the following instrument approaches: LOC Rwy 28, GPS Rwy 10 and 28, VOR Circling Approach. Frequencies: UNICOM/CTAF 123.0, ASOS 119.275, VOR 111.4, LOC 110.5 Cleveland Center 124.325 and Flight Service (BUF) 122.1 Transmit / 111.4 Receive. We have a small flight school available for those interested in learning to fly and obtain their private pilot's license. We have two CFI's that have extensive training in flight and ground school.  They  are more than delighted to assist with bi-annual reviews or other refresher training that you may need.         We also offer aircraft maintenance services. We have three maintenance technicians (AP & AI); who are ready to make quick repairs or complete annual inspections.
