Text Box: WFS staff is always eager to assist when you arrive at the airport! Whether you need fuel, a car rental, hotel accommodations, or simply to use the facilities they are always available to help!  The airport is staffed from 7am - 7pm Monday through Friday and 9am - 6pm on Saturday and Sunday. (winter hours 6pm and 5pm respectively).   Wellsville is a small town in Allegany County and is host to 3 hotels and several well known restaurants. We have a MicroTel, Long Vue, Budget rooms available when your business or pleasure requires an overnight stay. Some of the restaurant choices are The Beef Haus, Lil’Italia, Texas Hot, and various fast food (Burger King, Tim Hortons, Dunkin Donuts, Pizza Hut, McDonalds) and take out and delivery facilities.    Allegany County also is known for two area colleges; Alfred University, Alfred State College and Houghton College. Alfred offers a ceramics engineering program along with many others. Houghton College is a Christian college and supports the community by offering basketball camps for local youth.
